Vision Statement
At Lewknor C of E Primary School, the school community will work together to provide a nurturing school environment where all children are passionate about their learning and achieve their full potential. Caring for each other, caring for all aspects of children’s health and caring for our futures will be the bedrock of what we do. We will create an exciting and challenging curriculum which will give our children, like the wise man who built his house on rock, the foundations for a happy and successful life.

Values
Be Passionate, Be Caring, Be Healthy, Be Successful
Be Passionate We will deliver an exciting curriculum where dynamic teachers deliver a curriculum that Lewknor Learners are motivated to take part in. Learners will be enthusiastic about their learning and want to contribute to every aspect of their school life. Children should be passionate about advocating for the environment and conscious of what they leave behind.
|
Be Caring We will be caring to all members of our school community in every action or interaction we have. We will seek to know all children as individuals and give them the nurture they need to feel safe, happy and flourish in school. We will care for our families by involving them fully in school life and supporting them to create firm foundations for our children. Children at Lewknor will care for each other across year groups and be excellent role models for younger learners.
|
Be Healthy We will encourage children and adults to adopt healthy lifestyles by promoting physical activity as part of a lifelong healthy lifestyle, encouraging them to consider their nutrition and helping them to form positive relationships. Children’s mental health and wellbeing will be at the centre of what we do and we will seek to prepare them for all the challenges of our digital age.
|
Be Successful We will challenge and support children in their learning so every child can achieve their potential. We will break down, scaffold and extend learning where needed to adapt learning to every child’s needs. We will recognise each child’s strengths and celebrate their successes so all children can feel content about their achievements in school.
