Year 2 children enjoyed the rewards of working hard on their maths by celebrating with a teddy bear picnic. Miss Elvin organised the treat, which included a teddy bear hunt, teddy bear race and guess the missing teddy bear game, after the children produced some excellent work during a maths investigation. The children had to find out what the class’s favourite sandwich filling was, what was their favourite snack and what was their favourite drink? They presented their findings in tally charts and pictograms. The photographs above show the children having fun on the day.
